How to Convert Kindle Books to iPad ePub?

Amazon.com provides a lot of eBooks for eBook fans. So if you have downloaded a lot of eBooks from Amazon.com or Kindle for PC, you may wanna put Kindle books on iPad. So how? Firstly, you need to be aware of that Kindle books may have DRM protection. To copy Kindle books to iPad, you need to remove DRM from Kindle, then convert Kindle books to iPad ePub format.

Part 1: Remove DRM from Kindle Books

Step 1: Free download and install Kindle DRM Removal.

Tips: The Kindle DRM Removal only supports Kindle for PC 1.1.1 version currently.

Step 2: Launch Kindle DRM Removal. And click "Browse" to open Kindle for PC.

Step 3: In Kindle for PC Home mode, double click the eBook which you wanna convert to iPad ePub format. And in the reading mode, close Kindle for PC. The Kindle book will appear in the "DRM file:" area.

Step 4: Finally, click "unDRM directory" to remove AZW DRM fast.
Tips: If a pop-up window tells you that it's not a DRM file. Go to Part 2 directly. If not, a pop-up window will tell you file decrypted successfully, so you can now convert decrypted MOBI to ePub with Part 2.

Part 2: How to Convert Kindle to iPad

Step 1: Download the eBooks converter freeware: Calibre. Then install it.

Step 2: Start the program when installation is complete. When you're prompted as below, choose the device (such as "Apple") as your default reader.

Step 3: Once it's loaded, use the Add button to add the Kindle book to Calibre. It should then show up in the list of books. Choose ePub as the output format.

Step 4: Click the "Convert" button to convert Kindle to iPad.

Part 3: Copy Kindle Books to iPad

Link iPad to computer with Apple dock connector. Then sync the Kindle books to iPad with iTunes.
