- Google reveals 2010 top UK searches

Google has released its annual list of the top UK searched terms - showing that the UK's most interested in Facebook, iPads, Justin Bieber, Cheryl Cole... and Chatroulette.
Overall, the UK confirms its status as a nation of Facebook addicts, with the social networking site being the most popular search term of all - with the BBC and Google's own YouTube in second and third place.
But more interesting is the list of 'new favourites' - terms that came from nowhere to dominate in 2010. Unsurprisingly, flopsy-haired Canadian teen pop behemoth Justin Bieber and Apple's iPad performed strongly, coming in at 3rd and 4th on the list.
But beating both of them were two surprising internet trends of 2010 - in second was Formspring, the ask-me-a-question website, while at number one was the 'randomly connect to someone's webcam and hope it's not a fat bloke in his pants' sensation Chatroulette.
The most searched-for person was Kirstian Digby, the BBC presenter who died in March after what was thought to be a sex game gone wrong. Bieber was second, while Nicki Minaj - the Trinidadian hip hop star who we're embarrassed to admit we haven't heard of - was third.
The rest of the most popular people list was also dominated by female recording artists, with Ellie Goulding, Kesha, and Katy Perry all featuring.
The news and current events list is entirely dominated by the general election - Election 2010 leading the way, followed by 'Register to vote' and 'David Cameron', with each of the major parties also included. But despite a surge in searches around the time of the leadership debates, Nick Clegg doesn't make the list.
And in a list of which celebrity divorces people were most fascinated by, Cheryl Cole emerges as the clear winner - beating out televangelist Benny Hinn, whose divorce was surprisingly more interesting than that of Tiger Woods.
