How to Secure your iPad by Using a Pin-Code?
It would be bad enough to lose your iPad – but it would be much worse for the person who finds your iPad to be able to access your personal information (photos, notes, email, calendar etc). This brief tutorial will show you how to lock your iPad by using a pin-code.

Step 1: Start out by selecting Settings from your home screen.
Step 2: In the left line you need to select General and then choose Passcode Lock from the right part.
Step 3: Now you need to tap the Turn Passcode On button like this.

Step 4: After you tap the button in the Step 3 you will have to enter the 4 digit numerical pin and then again for confirmation.
Step 5: Would you like an extra level of security? You may like to turn Erase Data on. But as for this feature you must know that your iPad will be completely wiped if the incorrect pin is entered 10 times in a row.

OK! Now you have secure your iPad by using a pin-code successfully. Each time you open your iPad you will have to enter the 4 digit pin.
