How to Transfer iPad to iTunes Free?

Method 1: Transfer iPad to iTunes Free with Transfer Tool

Step 1. Free download and install iPad Transfer.

Step 2. Launch it. Link iPad to computer. The software will recognize your iPad automatically.

Step 3. Click the playlist, you can see the playlist will show on the window. You can select and check some of the files on your iPad. Click the button "Export".

Step 4. In the pop up window, select and check "Export to iTunes" item. Then click OK.

Method 2: Transfer iPad to iTunes Free with iTunes

Step 1. First you need to connect the iPad without iTunes to do the auto-sync.

• Hold down the Shift+Ctrl keys while connecting iPad to computer. Don't let go of Shift+Ctrl.
• If iTunes doesn't open automatically after connecting the iPod, open iTunes. Don't let go of Shift+Ctrl.
• Wait until the iPad comes up in the Source list under DEVICES(it may take a while, but don't let go of Shift+Ctrl)

NOTE: iTunes may pop up asking you to choose an existing library or to create a new one. Click Create a new one so that it can just open. Once it shows up, close iTunes.

Step 2. Now find the files on your iPad and copy them to a folder on your computer. From the Desktop, go to My Computer and click once (or select/highlight) on the iPad(usually drive E:, F: or G:).

Step 3. Go to Tools > Folder Options.

Click View tab > scroll to Show Hidden Files and Folders and select it. Click OK.

Look in the iPad drive, and find a folder called iPad_Control and open it. Click once on the folder or hold down the Ctrl button and click once on each of the folders you want. Go to the Edit menu and select copy. Minimize all windows, right click over a blank area of the desktop, select New > Folder (name it Songs). Right click over the Songs folder and select Paste.

Step 4. Open iTunes (if needed) and go to File > Add Folder to Library. Select the folder you want to import and click OK.
